Legion Movie Review (Watch movies online)

If you are a lover of religious apocalypse movies like the Seventh Sign but from a bizarre standpoint, Legion might be a movie that peeks your interest. Sure there are movies that have been made in the past that focus on religion and it seems as though the overall objective of the movie is to try and convert atheist into believers. But if you watch movies online or in theatres you will find that some movies are simply just remakes. Legion could possibly fall into the remake category of the Seventh Sign featuring Demi Moore but with a twentieth century appeal that is an attraction for the younger generation.

Stewart and Peter Schink have scripted this movie to be full of action and the way in which God is depicted in the Legion is really what puts a twist on this movie. God is viewed as the villain which is pretty far fetched if you know anything about religion. This movie is action packed and focuses on the idea that God, for the first time since the time of creation loses all faith in humanity and he sends angels to exterminate all human life. Now if you watch movies online now would be the time to watch Seventh sign to understand how this movie closely relates to the Legion. Just as Demi Moore’s pregnancy was intended to save the world, there is also a character in the move that must deliver a baby in order to save the world. The pregnancy is viewed as the second coming of Christ which is the only thing that can save the world.

All though this is a horror film, it does a good job at staying to the theme of the movie which is spirituality. The archangel Michael (Paul Bettany) starts the action when he is sent down to kill the unborn baby but changes his mind and saves the baby which ultimately messes up the destiny of the whole world. This very action causes God to send angels to complete the action that Michael failed to accomplish.

Aside from the basic storyline, the movie is pretty intense and action packed. There are some moments in the movies that make you think WTH. Then you may feel as though you need to watch movies online similar to one like the Legion to even understand why this plot would even be created to entertain people in this fashion. Sometimes facing your demons can be hard but not a horror. If your looking for a horror film this movie may not be it for you. But on the other handle you will fairly amused by the explosive action, freaky demons and the powerful wrath of god. You be the judge!
